Cigonyes, humans, migracions, habitatges, residus, toxines, infraestructures i patrimoni.
La ciutat de Lleida acull la colònia de cigonyes blanques més gran de tot Catalunya, i una de les més importants del sud d’Europa. Només l’any 2019 es van censar 168 nius ocupats per 288 cigonyes, i hi van néixer 268 polls. Al Pla de Lleida hi viuen 1.200 cigonyes repartides en 500 nius. Les cigonyes es troben inscrites en un conjunt de qüestions jurídiques, mediambientals, simbòliques, culturals, socials, mitològiques, turístiques i folklòriques. Partint d’aquesta assumpció, aquest projecte educatiu, en què col·laboren el Centre d’Art la Panera en residència artística amb l’Institut Màrius Torres de Lleida, té per objectiu analitzar, a través de l’art, les condicions de vida d’aquestes espècies al territori de Lleida; copsar les interaccions vitals i letals entre les cigonyes i els humans; entendre com aquesta comprensió transforma les nostres maneres de sentir, pensar i actuar, i desenvolupar una relació més sostenible amb altres espècies en entorns urbans.

Amb la participació dels alumnes de 2n de batxillerat artístic i l’equip docent d'Arts de l’INS Màrius Torres (Lleida). Amb el suport de «Subvencions per als programes municipals d’arts escèniques, música i arts visuals en l’àmbit de l’ensenyament reglat» del Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
Storks, humans, migrations, housing, waste, toxins, infrastructure and heritage.
The storks are inscribed in a set of legal, environmental, symbolic, cultural, social, mythological, touristic and folkloric issues. Based on this assumption, this educational project, in which the Panera Art Center collaborates in an artistic residency with the Màrius Torres Institute of Lleida, aims to analyze, through art, the living conditions of these species in the territory of Lleida; capture the vital and lethal interactions between storks and humans; understand how this understanding transforms our ways of feeling, thinking and acting, and developing a more sustainable relationship with other species in urban environments. The city of Lleida hosts the largest colony of white storks in all of Catalonia, and one of the most important in southern Europe. In 2019 alone, 168 nests occupied by 288 storks were counted, and 268 chicks were born. 1200 storks live in 500 nests in the Plan de Lleida.
